About Bear Iron Works
For Contractors. By Contractors.
Bear Iron Works builds rugged, contractor-focused equipment designed to perform in the real world. From grizzly rock screens and bedding boxes to washout tubs, tracking pads, and other jobsite solutions, our products are built with durability, function, and efficiency in mind.
What sets Bear Iron Works apart is simple: this company was built by people who know construction firsthand. Before Bear Iron Works became a growing manufacturing business, Mike Frick, COO and Roggen Frick, CEO were already working in construction, learning what crews need from their equipment and what actually holds up in the field.
Built from a Real Need
Bear Iron Works began when Mike started building smaller grizzly rock screens to fill a gap in the market. Larger options existed, but smaller, practical solutions were harder to find. What started as a few hand-built screens quickly gained interest.
Later, Roggen helped take that early idea further by building the company’s website and growing demand online. As interest increased, Bear Iron Works evolved from a side venture into a full-time business focused on manufacturing equipment for contractors across the country.
