Bear Iron Works Weekly Operations Summary – July 14, 2025

Safety Update

Our team continues to prioritize safety across the shop floor. A minor electrical concern was identified involving neutral wire voltage feedback. Preventative measures are underway, and professional inspection has been scheduled to maintain safe operations around all welding and CNC machinery.

Production & Equipment Status

Concrete Washout Pans

  • Only one unit remains of our legacy Concrete Washout Pan model. The updated models continue to receive strong demand due to their compliance and jobsite durability.

Grizzly Rock Screens

  • Production support continues for custom Grizzly Rock Screen requests. These screens remain a critical product for contractors looking to separate oversized materials on excavation projects.

Bedding Boxes

  • No disruptions to current Bedding Box inventory or fulfillment. These essential trenching tools are being quoted frequently and remain a staple for utility and civil contractors.

Materials & Sourcing

  • Steel stock was successfully picked up from our regional supplier, enabling continued production.
  • New quotes from Triple S Steel were reviewed, offering favorable pricing on high-volume items like bar stock used in fabrication.

Sales & Market Activity

  • New draft quotes were generated this past week across product lines including Grizzly Rock ScreensBedding Boxes, and Concrete Washout Pans.
  • More active leads are in progress, with a portion requesting multiple product combinations.
  • While early-week call volume was high, overall industry demand remains variable.

Order Fulfillment & Logistics

  • Several Roll-Off Washout Pans are currently in transit, with some units shipped and others awaiting pickup.
  • We continue to streamline our shipping operations to meet delivery expectations across the Western U.S.

Product Development & Custom Fabrication

  • Engineering drawings were received for our Snow Pusher Attachments in 6-foot and 8-foot configurations, supporting our winter equipment expansion.
  • Ongoing conversations with contractors are helping refine custom builds, such as adjustable rock screens and high-volume material boxes.

Team & Admin Updates

  • A new administrative team member has joined under a support role to assist with:
    • Product specification documentation
    • Fulcrum ERP data cleanup
    • Shopify product listings
    • Internal coordination across Bear Iron Works and related business units
